A large motor yacht held in a shipyard travel hoist with her hull exposed

Retained by buyers only · Palma and Hamburg · since 2004

We have never had
a boat to sell you.

One side of the table, one flat fee, agreed before we look at anything. We hold no listings, take nothing from a seller and are paid the same whether you buy in March or walk away in November.

  • Fee fixed before the search opens
  • No commission from any seller
  • Survey findings published to you in full

How we are paid

The parts of this the trade dislikes

01

Not a cent from the seller, ever

The customary half of the selling commission is worth far more than our fee on almost every boat we handle. We decline it in writing at the start, which is why some central agents would rather deal with anyone else.

02

We pay our own way at the yards

No shipyard hospitality, no launch invitations, no flights or hotels taken from anybody with a boat to move. Our December was a lot quieter than it used to be and the travel bill is ours.

03

We tell clients not to buy, and often

Eleven of the last thirty-four searches ended with nobody buying anything. The fee is the same in that case, but a client who buys nothing brings us no second commission and no refit work, and three of those eleven never came back.

04

The deduction list goes out unedited

Every survey finding, its cost and what we managed to get off the price, written down and given to the client. Sellers' brokers have read those lists afterwards, and two yards have stopped returning our calls because of them.

A broker and a client going through survey paperwork on a shipyard quay

“The boat I wanted was the second one they inspected, and Marcus spent forty minutes explaining why I should not have it. I paid him the same fee to stop me as I would have paid him to buy it. Eighteen months later he found one that had never been advertised.”

About this page

Everything above is a demonstration

The business, the listings and the reviews are invented — this page exists to show what someone could put on superyachtbrokers.com. The domain itself is genuinely for sale.

Domain for sale

superyachtbrokers.com is available

You are looking at a demonstration, not a real business. We built it to show what this domain could carry — the company, the stock and the reviews are invented.

  1. 1

    Make an enquiry

Tell us who you are and what you would use it for. It costs nothing and puts you under no obligation.

  2. 2

    Agree a price

We reply with a price or consider your offer. Most conversations are settled within a couple of working days.

  3. 3

    Pay into escrow

Funds go to a licensed third-party escrow agent, never straight to us. They hold the money until the transfer is confirmed.

  4. 4

    Take ownership

We push the authorisation code to your registrar. You control the domain, usually within a week; escrow then releases the funds.

The demonstration site is not part of the sale by default — but if you want it, say so in your enquiry and we will include the source.
